É um livro fotográfico que narra a devoção, a busca e o sacerdócio de milhares de peregrinos que anualmente caminham no entorno da montanha sagrada de Arunachala, localizada no estado de Tamil Nadu, na cidade de Tiruvanamalai. A força do mito encarnado na montanha, atesta por si só a crença que movimenta por gerações hindus e não hindus em busca de liberação da roda cármica de nascimento.

Arunachala is a poetic visual chant to Shiva. It is a photographic book that narrates the devotion, search and priesthood of thousands of pilgrims who annually walk around the sacred mountain of Arunachala, located in the state of Tamil Nadu in the city of Tiruvanamalai. The strength of the myth incarnated in the mountain, in itself attests to the belief that moves Hindu and non-Hindu generations in search of liberation from the karmic wheel of birth.
